Accelerometer

Please give us an accelerometer instead of some almost invisible space dust that gives barerly any information. It would be nice with some type of globe hologram that has an arrow in the middle that moves inside the 3D globe to represent your speed in that direction relative to your cockpit. It would also be nice with some actual numbers on how fast I am moving in that direction with Y X and Z numbers. I think Star Citizen has something like that but I might be wrong.

The accelerometer would be especialy helpful for FA off flying.

It's 3301 and we don't have that nor mirrors? What happaned to technoligy and common sense? :(

You dont want an accelometer, you want a heading indicator. An accelometer only tells when you make a change in direction or speed, not the direction you are going.

Something like Kerbal space program that shows prograde and retrograde icon is what you need.

Compared to what?

This is space, those ideas are for flatlanders.

Not when you are near large objects like space stations and asteroids.

Getting information about how much inertia and drift you have in a certain direction is very useful in large ships that tend to take time before a full direction change is complete.
