Access to any of your ships on the current station, not just the last one.

Atm you can only access to the last ship you disembarked from. I find this feature unrelistic, if you have ships docked on several sytems, and you travel around with shuttle, you really should be allowed to access any of your ships.

I usually use my Honda to drive home from work after driving there in my Chevy. 🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️. Really though, how is it unrealistic to only have the vehicle you brought with you?

I think he means if you have two ships docked at the same station you should get a choice of ships when using the lift, rather than having to enter your last ship to change to a different ship. It indeed appears to make sense, however what they are doing in the background when you leave your ship probably makes it more difficult than it appears, and it probably also has carry over effects to Horizons players, at the moment that's the only way they can change ships so it probably makes it easier for coding to keep it the same for all DLC's.

Ok yea that makes much better sense. I agree with that

Wow, I thought that was how it worked. Otherwise why do you even have a menu at the elevator?

Look how long it takes to switch between ships. That's all the piloted-ship specific stuff being changed out, which indicates it's probably a good bit of data.

Having crew members do things besides ONLY fighter stuff would be very cool though, justify all three slots, AND justify their undeserved salary. Like move ships around. OFC, if you stick a harmless crew behind 500 tons of expensive cargo, they're gonna get robbed before they can move it anywhere. XD

The other thing I was just thinking about was cargo, we can get out of our ships with cargo in them fortunately, but it may cause issues if we just select a ship from the docked ones, what if the ship we want doesn't have enough cargo space? Do they then limit your selection of ships to the ones with enough cargo space? if they didn't I can just hear the salty tearful complaints now, "I have 40 ships and can't get in any of them because I can't remember which one I was in last and it is full of cargo so I have to try and load every one to see which one it was!"
