Accessing CQC from INSIDE OPEN PLAY

Everyone, Elite Vet here. I thought I recalled FD mentioning that they wanted us to be able to join CQC from anywhere in the universe so we could que while out in space. I was really looking forward to doing some exploring or trading while queing every few jumps to change things up.

Especially for us VR users, it would help not break the immersion as much to just look to our panel to the left and que up kind of how we can for power play.

Weren't we supposed to be able to access a CQC match from INSIDE OPEN play? I don't want to have to SWAP every time. Thoughts?

Not from anything that I've read on CQC - it has always been an additional game mode accessed from the game client menu.

Thansk Robert. I could of sworn in the "head dude's" newsletter somewhere I saw him mention a while ago that he wanted it to be seamless at some point...so explorers or anyone could partake from anywhere.

Thoughts?

Explorers can partake in CQC from anywhere - they can start the game in the separate mode created for CQC which is not linked in any way to their position in the galaxy.
