General / Off-Topic Accidentally deleted my ignore list

So here I was looking to delete 1 user from my ignore list so I could see his OP then decide if he got out the list or got put back on. Anyway I did the equivalent of pressing the "respawn in sidewinder button".

Instead of removing him from the ignore list I unchecked everyone else and turned my 150+ ignore list into 1...

For anyone wondering about the 150+ I started a new personal policy about 6 months ago with a few criteria. If its an "I'm leaving" thread they get ignored as they shouldn't be coming back. If they use the words "Fanboy, Griefer, troll, white knight" or similar they get ignored as they cannot argue sensibly. If they have more swear filter activations than sentences in their post same since I don't want to have to play scrabble to work out what people have said. And a few other ones I can't exactly remember but it's usually obvious when I see it.
In my opinion all are relatively sensible and I don't ignore people for their opinions, I ignore them usually for their attitude... Anyway different discussion that, this is just a bit of background info :)

So, I don't think the list is recoverable in any way. Everyone just got a free pass, rejoice. :D

Maybe the check-box feature needs to change though as it's the opposite of everything else here. Almost everything is "check this box to action the item" whereas the ignore list is "uncheck the boxes you wish to remove". Inconsistent...

FDEV reports that 150+ forum user accounts were mysteriously deleted from their servers today. Brett C could be heard in his office thumping his head on his desk shouting in a Yosemite Sam-like manner "Stupid fanboy filter troll mothergriefer...."

I've always found that ignore lists and similar features should be unlimited and permanent, whether in a video game or on forums.
