Accidents & Breakdowns

Hi all!

Frontiers last coaster game, RCT3, had accidents and breakdowns. It could be deliberate accidents with making your coaster cars crash, or guests needing first aid for reasons left unknown. So i ask of you this, what accidents, breakdowns or mishaps should planet coaster have that we the fans would love to see, and just how real will they be? Will it be serious where you can be fined or shutdown by health and safety or laughable as it was in RCT3?

Personally i would like a 50/50 split between real and funny. Yes i want my coasters and rides to either have man made accidents that i take all my time designing, and yes i want genuine faults on a ride that depending how severe will result in a long wait for your handyman to fix it up or actually cause a handful of guests to visit your park clinic, and go away and tell there friends and family to stay away from that ride, which could add a reputation element to the game!

Please do post your thoughts, i am interested to see if anyone is on the same boat as me or if frontier have a different plan altogether

:)

I definitely want to see different breakdown (short and long one). In RCT, it always take some seconds and it's done. There's no challenge about breakdown, inspection, etc.

and it could be funny to have some kind of "Theme hospital" laughable accidents.

Sense of humour in Theme Hospital is the highlight and I think laughable jokes could fit well in the fun of PC. If someone don't want it, it could be a toggle on/off button

For example (but I'm not a funny guy, so please go with your own suggestions [haha]):
- This water ride has to close because someone receives to much water in the face and swallow water due to technical issue
- This rollercoaster has to close because it was too fast and a VIP has lost his wig
- This flat ride has to close because too much guests found the color awful. You'll to repaint it.
- This ride has to close because the speakers explode due to high volume. The ride is now boring, so please repair the speakers before open it again.

I think those can be worked with, with some extra details:
-Guest potentially drowned? Or guests could be complaining about the ride being too wet because of logic and stuffs. XD
-Meanwhile, someone in the park walks around with a new hairdo.
-Maybe have some guest go as far as vandalizing the flatride with a grafity drawing or something. Or just literally have the color of the ride fade due to being in use a lot.
-Guest near the exploding speakers will be startled and will either want to go home, or to the bathroom depending on their happiness at the time that it happened.

Now when all coasters liftrails have safety cat walks, I would love to see the peeps climbing down from them during a breakdown. [big grin]

If they want to make it extremely realistic, they could have the ride break down on the lift hill every so often. Then the poor ride operator/ ticket taker would have walk up the cat walk to calm down the guests until the mechanic arrives to free them.
