Achenar seems kind of harsh!

I remember Achnear 6 where all the Imperial moons were located was a huge distance from not only the star, but from the average hyperspace exit, even for the really fast travel times of FE2.

When planetary landings come out, I doubt they will let me land. Because when I land, reenter, or dock, I scream WWAARARRRGGGHHHHH!!! while flying straight down. I pull up in the last moment and scrape around the landing pad until the lock goes on. I think the empire would be smart enough to not let me land at their stations and planets.

Those who have made it to Achenar already, can I ask a question.

Is the star being flattened out of shape by the spinning, or is that something Frontier haven't gotten around to modelling yet?

From the system view it appears spherical

Another question; Is it at least spinning quickly? I've seen that T-Tauri Star in WD1207-032 that was rotating once every 15 seconds or so. So since achenar has a rapid spin i'd expect to see it. May not be so obvious due to it's size.

Also says that Achenar is a binary system with a companion class A star. I think for the the sake of continuity this is omitted.
