Acquiring rewards from community events

How do I get rewarded? I contributed over 100 tons of osmium to Abres (top 15% on xbox one) and am left with a mission failed in my transaction's folder. ?

If the mission did not reach the first reward tier, no one gets any reward. 100 tons for top 15% kinda makes me think that the goal wasn't nearly reached...

Well it might not be worth it moving around the galaxy doing community events. I think there were only 13 or 14 participants on xbox one
