A general suggestion to compliment the current building system used in both PC and PZ for future consideration.
If i say snap point in context of PC, i think everyone knows what i'm talking about?
These are lock-points on assorted items within the game that help in attaching multiple pieces together.
I will keep this short and simple.
How about, if there were animated (i.e. rotating, tumbling, waving) objects,
like mechanical helpers (in the visual context or they could be invisible, too)
and if they had snapping points where you could attach static objects to,
they could be locked to a fixed point and turn into a moving object through the movement of the parented helper object.
It doesn't animate the object itself, obviously,
but a simple A-B movement can still have a dramatic effect on static items.
This feature would widen the creative opportunities in the game ten-fold.
For PC2, there could be a different solution to increase asset flexibility by a great margin,
this would be made possible with a new approach to the building system, but that's a suggestion for another time.
