Actual best way of credit farming (without 45 min boring travel times)

Hi. What is actually the best way to farm credits? The Palin missions are gone and I don't like a passenger mission with a boring flight time of 45 minutes. I heard Quince scan missions are now one scan point for each mission, so there are not usable, too.

I don't need to make 200 Million/h but a constant rewarding stream of money would be good.

Do what you find fun, you will get from my view, being a player since original launch, plenty of credits to get what you need, do not be in a hurry to get the 'big' stuff.

But that's just my thoughts, you are going to burn yourself out on stuff by going for 'biggest' only, there is a ton of fun to be had in the stuff that is on the way to the big ships.

I suggest pledging to ZH/ALD, getting to rank 1, and kill ships at a HAZ RES. That's like 20m cr an hour minimum in a big ship.

Or go to Cubeo's Roskam Enterprise and stack cut the power missions for Roskam Keep. That is about 200m cr an hour once allied with the pirate faction.

@xondk: I totally respect you playstyle but for me is buying and outfitting ships a lot of fun and for this I need money. I even enjoy a certain amout of grinding.

@Shadowed: I will have a look on this - thx!

@all: are ther other places to be?

Well, I would suggest ranking up in a system with all the factions. I picked one, got allied with all the factions, most of the missions to surrounding systems are reasonable jump in so I have something like a 15 min turn around and make from 10 to 12 mil a trip. I keep about a 480 cargo space available. Totally legit, no "gaming the system". I think 40+/hr is pretty good. Makes me rich.

Depends on your definition of "best". For me, personally, it's simply playing the game. Best for me does not equal fastest/most efficient. YMMV.

Game virtue signaling aside, I thought you were offering a better way instead of asking for a better way.

Go find it, come back and share it.

There's a certain place with two systems close to each other, but nowhere else. It's good for Fed ranking. But, if you bring a Pyton to the outpost, it can also be good for money grinding ;).

Go to a system and stack 20 black box retrieval missions. If Friendly or Allied with the factions they pay around 1.4 to 1.7 a pop.

From my experience so far, high tech stations when allied can have anywhere from 1mill to 2.2mill for just a cargo delivery to a system under 20lyrs away. You will need a large ship but.

Depending on how highly ranked in combat/good at PvE CZ you are, i'd say the biggest money maker for me has been massacre missions. I'm talking post fix too. I'll pick up a whole bunch (most was about 360 ships in a night) and settle in for the long haul. I've made 100mil+ in a day for this but it's not a newbie money maker if that's what you are looking for. Skimmer missions still pay quite well (if they aren't bugged) and are relatively low risk.

As a rule of thumb, I would strongly advise against sharing any locations or techniques ye find on this forum...chances are that someone would start a thread demanding it be 'fixed'

Unless ye follow some guide, yer options are fairly limited nowadays unless yer just lucky to stumble onto what I call bgs quirks...the ones where ye maybe stack several planetary scans on the same planet or every single mission goes to the exact same station less than 5 minutes away. They do exist, but on yer own head be it if ye share them in this place ^

OP if you do find something the last thing you want to do is to come onto the forum and start telling people, The whole "play it your own way" moniker suddenly turns into "You need to play it my way". Keep it to yourself and enjoy.

I think you mean rank 5 for which you need to invest 100 million. Rank 1 gets you zero bonus. Also 20 mil per hour is not possible. Averaged over a week, it's about 10 mil per hour if you have an engineered Corvette, Anaconda or some other shield tank.

Yesterday, I did a mix of assassination mission (~1.8m), one "destroy the power generator" (~1.5), a planetary scan (~1.9), and 3 courier missions to the same outpost (~30k per mission). It took me about and hour. Did I make a fortune? Not by today's standards at least. Did I have fun? Hell yes! Note that most if not all mission givers offered me multiple missions of the above, but I took only one of each as I didn't have time to take more anyway. I was eyeing a skimmer mission for 5m and 9 kills, but that would have taken me another 30 minutes at least and it was getting late.

My advice is, if you play the game to "farm credits", you'll lose interest. My best advice would be to take a break and go play something else, if possible. It has been mentioned before, but do what you feel is fun.

There´s only 1 advice: Don´t tell anybody.

This. Im surprised the OP hasnt been feathered and tarred for even brining up the subject.

Good advice.

Additions are:
* If you have cargo space, you can stack cargo missions.
* Sightseeing missions pays well and even more if you can find specific stations where VIPs all seems to want to go to the same sights.
* Check out systems at the fringes of the bubble. This is where you find more unique situations like regular high-paying Biowaste transport missions

I'm betting no-one is going to tell you an actual thing being done right now, because, some forum daddy will get their panties in a twist and claim it's an exploit, if it doesn't comply with their idea of fun.

So.. Next best is;

Two schools of thought;

1. Short range close proximity stations paying well, multiplied by quick turn-around = lots of wedge
2. Long Range, long turn around paying lots of wedge but taking a long time.

In the main 2 has been nerfed. There are still lots of type 1 around though. You'll just have to play with the map.
