i would love to see actual parks and playgrounds as an in grass grounds where people could walk, rest, sit and eat. kids could play.
putting them under the buildings tab would make it easy to build, customize and move around.
a brush tool or line/circle tool for outlining the area the guests could move freely in and be able to put special accessories like benches, picnic tables (these would be great in general) blanket/picnic areas for guests to put blankets down (as to keep them away from areas you don't want them to sit, or assigning district areas as to tell them what they can and cannot do there as to avoid people from sitting in the playground or inside the bushes)
playground equipment, sandbox, water equipment/toys/obstacle courses for kids, most if not all theme parks have these.
as the parks would be part of the building tab shops can be easily placed in them.
this would also give the paths and queues some breathing room if the theme park is getting crowded.
