I found a good use for SLF. Picking up mats in combat. It would be nice if it was given a cargo hatch to pick up mats. Plus a command to pick up cargo for you. As I know personally my cargoless combat ship can pick up mats without cargo space it doesn't require this. So, just a hatch and a command should do.
Add cargo hatch to SLF for mat pickup!
