Given the huge success of the Cobra Mk V, largely due to its stunningly designed centralised cockpit, I have a suggestion that can elevate the Elite experience and provide a strong revenue stream: cockpit variants!
Unlike purchasing ship kits which we barely get to see, creating new cockpit variants is much more enticing for commanders to purchase. Moreover, popular combat ships like the FDL and the Python Mk II could use centralised cockpit variants that better suit a combat ship.
These new cockpit variants can greatly elevate gameplay and can be sold for 16520 ARX each as a livery under ship kits. Compared to new ships which can be bought for ARX during early access, cockpit variants provide a stronger, long term revenue stream.
Even better, allow for even more cockpit customisation such as the material and colours of dashboards. These are all great long term monetisation methods that are purely cosmetic.
