The station announcer voice in Independent Stations is drowning out all other NPC voices. This voice is not included in the NPC voice control and cannot be tuned down or muted.
Please add a control for this voice (first choice) or include it in the current NPC Voice Control (alternative).
Loud announcing over a public address system is annoying to some and disorienting to others if too loud. Some countries use this as a torture mechanism when interrogating.
The current acoustics of the voice is representative of someone standing out in the open in a large building and does not take into account that we are in an airtight and well-insulated spaceship.
