Add filter to search map by STATE in order to locate systems containing Civil Wars, etc...

Currently the only way to quickly find a warzone, without randomly stumbling upon one, is by reading Galnet, but there are MANY more wars going on than are ever mentioned by the news feed. Wars are fairly public events - should it really be so difficult to find them?

It is painfully tedious to examine systems one at a time in the map in order to find one that contains a warzone, so PLEASE add a filter category that allows you to search the map according to the 'States' each system contains, like War, Civil War, Boom, Lockdown, etc...

this would be useful, but first you would need to obtain such information (via news or buy similar like trade/exploration data or direct visit)

Yes, agreed. Knowing which systems are in conflict is useful for knowing where to head for and where to avoid.

In addition, it should be clearer in general when a civil war is happening, who it's happening between and why.

That would be fine, but this info is already often available even for systems you've never visited, and/or never paid for the exploration data. Just look through your map, and you will see the STATE info already listed when you open up a populated system.

The problem is that the current method for accessing this data is extraordinarily tedious. In my opinion, any information that is available to your ship's computer should be easily filtered. This should be extended to include things like known Blackmarkets, and more complete trade data. You should NEVER have to sit there wasting time examining dozens of systems, one at a time, in order to find the game content you're trying to access. Most people have limited time to play games; they shouldn't have to waste 2 hours staring at the map trying to randomly find a warzone.

This is supposed to be the future, yet our onboard computer is way, WAY worse at accessing data than any present day search engine. The filters already in place (population, allegience, economy etc...) work great for their respective content, but anything beyond that you're looking at a lot of wasted time.
