As of right now, it's really hard to navigate to certain coordinates while in orbital supercruise.
However, in normal flight and dive, we have the heading indicator which helps greatly, but as we only are in regular speed and therefore much slower, only able to be used for small adjustments.
I'd like to suggest we get the heading indicator also in orbital cruise... or we could add a coordinates computer!
Simply type in the coordinates you want to land at, and the ship will take you to them with a slight miscalculation (3km+-) (could become better with the better computer you have) it would not land your ship in real flight, as that would require some serious programming, but would help greatly for explorers, and would add more depth to exploration loadouts. (As better ones could draw more power etc)
