The SRV with the turret seems a good opportunity for multicrew. While one person drives, the other person could man the turret. That would be cool and enhance the experience for a bunch of the skimmer/kill missions.

This is a good suggestion. Also, the ability to multi-crew when you have the two-SRV hangar would be nice.
Yeah, that would be SWEET. I think there might even be 3 and 4 SRV hangars. A wing of multicrew SRV!

They are also totally pointless, currently, except as spares.
Also, the heavy versions are pointless as well, since you just turn them off when you're not using them, so power usage is immaterial.
