Add on purchased package problems

I'm new to this game but I'm finding it extremely difficult it's definitely not user friendly. I've had to refer to YouTube on numerous occasions several hours in fact to try and resolve a problem concerning the animal market where there are no animals appearing despite me buying the full add-on package via Playstation store. Is this an inherent problem is it resolvable or do I look to get my money back.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

What mode are you playing in? There are known issues with franchise mode. Sandbox should be working fine though. Same for the scenarios.
