Add the ability to completely hide animals from the game

I really love Planet Zoo. It's the perfect zoo simulation I wanted to play since the original zoo tycoon. But I have one problem, I am terribly afraid of snakes and the first thing I see when I open the zoopedia is a pretty realistic looking snake (I play in German, don't know how it is in other languages). Another problem that I have with snakes in this game is, that I can't buy animals for the vivariums because there are snakes everywhere. I know it sounds pretty dump but maybe some can refer to my problem, maybe with spiders or some other animals.

I don't know if that would be possible but it would be really great if there would be an option added to the game to completely disable some kinds of animals. For example disable snakes. Or maybe have all animals from the listed in the options where you can choose which animals you want or don't want in your game. It would be amazing if that could be added.

Hello, yes I support that.

I have no problem with snakes, but with spiders.

Fortunately, not as much as the subject creator, but would very much like to switch off the images, or alternatively exchange them for another image.

Maybe against a kind of stop or prohibition sign.

This means that the entries of the animals can be present, even in Zoopedia, but you could not see the animals.

It is also possible to buy these animals if you want to.

That would be the best option for me.

I would love a pack that hid the spider icons. That'd be amazing! I hope you find where they're at. That'd be the first mod to go into my game. I know spiders aren't the bad guys, they're beneficial. Doesn't stop the intense fear response my brain goes through when one pops up on the screen unexpectedly, or the severe anxiety and holding my breath when I scroll through the zoopedia or go into the exhibit auction house.

When I first started reading your post about hiding animals I thought are you mad, that is what the game is. I hadn't really considered the phobia's people may have, particularly of snakes and spiders as I know some people who are petrified of both. Once I read further it made a lot more sense.

I think it would be a great option to hide or change the picture for those that would like it, nice suggestion. (y)

Something like this would be really nice, since I haven't used any spiders in my zoos and avoid the zoopedia entries like the plague. The only time I used them was in my all-in-one zoo where I had to, and even then I had to close my eyes looking for their requirements

Wasn't a scenario, I'm working on a mega zoo in franchise with every available animal. The spiders are currently tucked away in a terrarium building where I never have to look at them again besides routine population maintenance.

Well I decided it would help me work on my fear of spiders, but I try to avoid looking at them on the market too because, ugh, spiders. They made some almost cute (for spiders), but I understand how hard it can be for some, and indeed it would be a great parameter to make the game more Player-Friendly !
