Added adrenaline to my trade grind

For the last few days I've been switching between my trading Asp & combat Viper just to mix up my play style.
I've been grinding away trying to get my credits up so I can purchase a Lakon T7 and double my cargo and in turn, profit.

I'm able to purchase a T7 but not enough credits to upgrade, purchase goods or cover my insurance.
So... I decided to purchase the T7 and upgrade the cargo anyway!
I found the grind to be a bit slow and repetitive so I wanted to make it a bit more exciting:

I can tell you there's no better way to make this more exciting. High risk, high gain, right?
My speed of 200+ through the mail slot has turned in to 25, careful not to scratch the paint.
A few upgrades along the way increases my insurance and lightens my wallet meaning it's an ongoing cycle to keep head above water to ensure my available credits cover the insurance.

I had a heart attack moment when I was half way through the slot and noticed a T9 coming out. It was too late to stop and found myself wedged between the mail slot and the T9. Shields took a beating down to 1 ring but thankfully nothing more than that.

Adrenaline? Yes
Regrets? Not yet - I probably could have kept the Asp trade run for 1 more day and ended upgrading to T7 safely but I found this 'choice' to be gutsy and fun to talk about with my colleagues who are also playing.

Weaksauce!

Take the shields out and add cargo.

I'll look forward to reading yet a new I hate this game thread.

I had been reflecting if I was prepared for the rage quit moment should I crash.
I'm glad I had the shield to survive the collision with the T9.
The Asp didn't have any shields because I was docking with outposts. I found that even having a docking computer without a shielded Asp caused every dock to have 4000+ credit in repairs because the computer would drop my ship on to the landing pad like a rock and that awful clunk sound meant my profit would be affected.

Just traded in my Lakon 6 for an Asp and now only have 550,000 credits left, rebuy insurance is 337,000 so going to trade very carefully next session .... a bit of risk is all part of the fun :)

ROFL you are a helluva lot braver than I'll ever be :D

My balance has a self-imposed 25 million hard-deck: No way that it ever drops below that.
