adder - not so bad as you think

the adder is a great cargo van ship; it looks good, smells fresh and all compact;

but it can do more ...

upgraded for combat, in hands of a mere pilot it can even challenge vultures,diamondback , whatever else ....

i used to stand off against cobras and vipers, using a hauler in flight assist off...

it was hard, but i used to land a few kills without dying on it..

so even in a adder im quite sure some people are able to be good with it, and outstand better ships in combat...

when there is a good pilot behind the controls, its an hard 'grind' to get when distress is at hand x)

take care commanders :)

- this was an excerpt from a mere pilot x) -

I'm a big fan of the Adder. It's a very versatile and affordable early game ship, and I really like its Fallout-esque retrofuture look. Also it totally sounds haunted.

I tried the adder out for a bit. The medium hardpoint makes it a nice upgrade in firepower from the eagle.

I just knocked a CMDRs Adder to the forehead with my cobra when he had 80% hull left. He exploded nicely.

i use my old adder (where i made my first millions in exploration in) now for smuggling and for "find experimental chemicals" missions, but after your post i really want to take her into a cz for testing!

Not my thing (I cant stand the cocpit view), but Ive seen an amazing NPC Adder action. At least ten cops were chasing a wanted one:

Sorry for the quality, I was trying some recording settings...

Absolutely loved my old Adder, and I was sad to part with it. At first I thought it was a bit ugly and would fly soft and squishy. After a bit, I was flying it like a fighter and never wanting for the Eagle.
