Adding a lensing and spinning effect to Witchspace, and accretion disks to black holes

After years of observing the neat Witchspace effect, it feels more Star Wars "hyperspace(y)," than "Witchspace(y)." The sound effects are cool, though. It sounds almost as if hearing the known universe from behind closed doors, and almost a bit like voices...perhaps even in agony...or just simply chaos. This is very much what I'd imagine Witchspace to be. A bit "Event Horizon." Who knows...maybe you're even passing through the land of the dead. I'm sure some like to see it that way. I mean, who knows what perversions of nature have to take place to rip open the fabric of the known universe and lift off into Witchspace. In any case I thought it would be neat to add a bit more of a disorienting effect, with a bit of lensing...to give it a bit more of a spectacular 3D shine on a TV. The spinning effect I have in my head is a bit difficult to explain though. Something reminiscent to an old late 90's screensaver, where everything looks like it's being turned inside out and moving different direcitons.

As for the black holes, it is true they are practically invisible to the eye (they themselves). However, they happen to be extremely traumatic to the areas around them, and that is what scientists look for when searching for black holes. My proposal is adding an accretion disk to at least some (if not all) of them. As found in Interstellar, which contains they most realistic simulation of a black hole, thanks to Kip's math, and a ton of processing power. You could even add a burst, like found in neutron stars, to some of the black holes...here and there. As observed last year, scientists beheld a black hole that produced such a gamma burst. As it stands black holes in the game are incredibly unremarkable, in both scan data value, and appearance. You don't see any evidence of one until you are right about to enter it...and most of us do enter them just to be able to see them. They do possess an amazing lensing effecting once inside though.

Keep it where it is please, it used to spin when I first started playing, that gets old really quick, specially when you have even the mildest form of vertigo. Disorientation is fine, having to run away from the PC to throw up isn't!

I'm afraid I must agree with this sentiment. To make it more psychedelic would be quite painful for me, really. Your ideas are not bad by any means, Graelock, I just wouldn't be able to handle them.
