It would be so cool to have an option in the settings enabling us to control the duration of weather (rain or snow), so we can enjoy both of which for long period of time during the gameplay. Hopefully Frontier puts this in "To Do" list.

Actually, not only that, if we had an option to actually make it rain, snow or even a storm whenever we want, that would be amazing for cinematic and for those (like me) that want to make some abandoned park or things like that, so we don't have to wait for the storm, I also think that option would be accepted for a lot of content creators.
Can't disagree with you, I wish @Jens Erik and the team put this into consideration.
