adding browsing capability in the outfitting menu

browsing that long list of all the different parts for each ship is kinda tedious. i just stumbled upon this after reentering space again after a few months.

can we have menu for different type of fittable parts like for instance: "shield generator", " scanners", "sensors" etc etc, instead of looking through the list and buying the wrong part accidentally and ending up without money to buy the right one.?

There is a useful 'Sort' feature built into the Outfitting menu. This will effectively do what you ask. I use it to great effect.
