I am glad to see that Galnet news items now make it clear what kind of item they are (e.g. CG, official news story, 3rd-party news story), so that it's easier for people to see which news items are worth bothing with...
... but sticking "Galactic News:" before every useless Weekly statistical summary is ridiculous & unhelpful, as it now means that the least-useful 'news' items are being lumped together with the most-useful news items (i.e. FDev's official storyline news).
Please make up your mind. If you wish to HELP players skip stuff they aren't interested in (and thus make them more likely to bother reading Galnet in the first place), then please ensure different kinds of news items are kept separate. Putting "Galatic News" before non-news rubbish seems to indicate someone at your end doesn't actually understand why they are doing it.
P.S. In case you're not clear which news items I'm saying should not have "Galactic News:" in front of them, it's the news items that USED to be called:
GalNet Weekly Conflict Report
GalNet Weekly Expansion List
GalNet Weekly Economic Report
GalNet Weekly Security Digest
GalNet Focus on Democracy
(and possibly more)
