ADITI (PEW-1901) = A good base of operations for exploration?

It's a strange, out of the way system. Doesn't even show up in Thruds, probably because it's too far away from other populated systems and has crap all for trade. The missions really get me upset, and let me expand on this; because this station is 1). Agro and 2). It's floating around an ELW. You might say, so what! and then you get missions that ask for tea because the population is starving. Tea, are we being a tad British today? really, I mean you're hungry and want a cuppa. No scones, no buttered crumpet? No fish and chips? Tea. There is not another system anywhere near this joint, it's in the armpit's armpit.

Well, enough on idiotic missions. While very out of the way, I do think this place is good for explorers working below the PP area as a place to drop off UC data. It's also got 3 RES, so it might be a nice out of the way spot for miners.

Sad part is, that it's really a beautiful station. Not the drab industrial setting docking bays I'm used to at all. It seems very odd to me for this system to be out here so far from other inhabited systems and sure makes me wish that a game mechanic allowed it to expanded out to build it's own economy around several systems. Maybe there are more stations like it, hidden and waiting for explorers to find?

At least they didn't want you to bring um blood pudding. That stuff stinks up the whole cargo bay.

My grandmother used to make black pudding. I can remember her walking down to Wednesday market, a farmers market in the town square, to buy fresh pigs blood from the butcher. While it sounds disgusting, it was actually a very tasty sausage and at least you knew the ingredients. Dare I say, know the ingredients better than fast food.

To get back on topic, well I have to say that these generic missions are unfortunate and an isolated station only highlights how poorly thought out they really are.

Perhaps you might recall the scavenger mission posted on youtube:

You see the bodies floating in that vid at 0:41 as the ship does a slow scan flyby of the derelicts? How about that Conda coming in with 2 wingers and then firing a missile at the ship. I'm sure some people would love to go haul some tea back to this farming station, but I simply can't.
