Adjudication server error possible fix!

*UPDATE
Hi guys, Just a follow up. After putting in a ticket, I got speaking to FS, and thankfully we got to the route of the problem, after a bit of communication between myself and frontier support, I informed them that I had port forwarded all ports required for ED, disabled upnp, reset the xbox and cleaned cache, etcetera..
Anywho, after moving me one system over, at my request. We then looked at my game data, session reports an so on, an lo an behold... Two different MTU readings each time I log on, ..
So upon checking my own data on my end, in regards to what, both my xbox one (old chassis) and hub state are running the MTU at, both come back at 1432!!
So upon confirming this with Cmdr Luna, from Frontier support. We went ahead and logged on to my D-link 3782, admin settings, (Usually something like 192.158.6) And under WAN settings we changed the value to 1500.....
So, understandably a bit unsure as to whether I've fixed the problem after two weeks tinkering and general cursing towards the heavens.. I log on.. Boom. Mission boards load straight away. All accepted within like 2 seconds!! I could not believe it, compared to the "endless spinny thingy, then 'Failed to connect to the adjudication server, returning to the main menu'
I was in Heaven, now this is a fix that's worked for me, an it might not help you all and I've had 8 hrs straight playing tonight, even ranked up a few times! Lol
I just wanted to share my Joy with you all, and maybe if any of you guys on xbox are having the same problems as I was having , this might help.
Once again, my thanks to Frontier, especially Cmdr Luna, who without there timely and informative reply's, i would most likely still be floating about Ohm City, getting in the way lol
Now as its 5.28am, I'm of to fly about space lol !

I'll see you all up there, and remember LLAP!

GT: Aj31091 (xbox1) add me!

Regards

Sorry to be dim, but would you mind explaining to a non-tech type how I go about doing this bit, please: We went ahead and logged on to my D-link 3782, admin settings, (Usually something like 192.158.6) And under WAN settings we changed the value to 1500.....

I have the same issue but can't shake it. Switched my game across to a One X and it is better but not fixed.

Thank you, Commander.

Absolutely Commander, I'll start at the beginning.
First: Okay, the first thing we need to do is check your current MTU reading, that's usually found in the dashboard of the xbox,
( usually under settings> network> advanced network diagnostic's> detailed network stats) : Run the test, and after a few seconds it should come back with the report. Once you have that data, ie: MTU 1432/1480/ an so on.
1. Now once you have that, we then need to log onto you router/hub. Usually its just a case of typing in your ip into your browser search bar, depending on you network provider, ie: Talk,talk/sky/virgin.
2. Once you know this, you will need the admin log in details, usually located somewhere on the actual hub itself, sometimes the back, other times the bottom.
3. Once you have that, log on to you home hub, an have a look under lan/wan (wired internet) or depending on how you connect. (ideally a wired connection is best) most isp providers these days have a genetic layout, so it should be easy to locate. I will include shots of my hub setup as reference.
4. Now, we are almost there, once you have the value, check and make sure its no lower than MTU 1480, anything lower is way too low for the server mission data packs to come back un-fragmented. I was able to just save the new value of 1500, save settings and reboot.
And that should be it, make sure before doing this you disconnect from xbox live and leave all games closed and fully shutdown. Also, I will give a list of all ports I've opened as well: As you can enter the rules manually upon locating the inputs:
53 udp-tcp
80 TCP
88 UDP
500 UDP
1863 udp-tcp
3074 udp-tcp
3544 UDP
4500 UDP
16000 udp-tcp
I hope this helps Commander, and if you need any further information or support, I'm here to help!

Mine was already set up correctly and it’s still not working got about 2 hours play today before the dreaded screen appeared. Nothing will get fixed until the PC brigade start having these issues.

Yes tried everything, it can work for a couple of days but it always reappears. Think I’ll give it a break, got to triple Elite a couple of weeks ago and just doing imperial ranks.
Thanks

Hello again,

I just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to post this. I have finally got around to trying it and have had some success, so thank you. My Xbox was running MTU of 1480, so on your bottom line. I logged in to Sky and their limit is apparently 1534, so I raised it to that. The game now runs (phew!) with mission boards loading quickly as in the good old days. Unfortunately I have discovered that I still can't stack missions, as with even just two open passenger missions it will throw me out again with an adjudication error. So while I still plan to upgrade my Dolphin to an Orca, I won't be disappearing off on multiple simultaneous sightseeing adventures, which is a shame. But I am back in the game, and that is the main thing, and that is down to you, so you have my gratitude, Commander.

I'm glad it helped Cmdr, ill see you up there!

Spot on! After upping the MTU size in my router settings, it seems to be behaving again. Most I could get was 1492, but that seems to be sufficient.
