Adjust Daytime

Im not 100% sure but i think in the beta it was possible to adjust the daytime by just clicking on the date on the bottom right side. I dont like building at night, so i'd like to lock the daytime while building to have a better view on what im doing.

Im playing franchise mode. Somebody knows how to adjust it now? When i click on the date, it changes just changes from showing me the date to showing me the time. But i cant click on it.

It's only available in sandbox mode now. A work around is to change the hours your zoo is open for, as it fastforwards time (day/night cycle) during the hours your zoo is closed.

But why this change? I like the aesthetic of the rain or snow when I'm looking at my exhibits, but when I'm building, I need daylight only. Placing that one piece in absolute darkness is impossible!

You can press L to bring up a flashlight that acts as a spotlight. They changed it because weather in particular is a challenge, so you shouldn't be able to just turn it on and off... In a challenge mode. Similar thing with night and day.

Best would be to let the player change the weather/daytime when game is stopped and go to originally daytime/weather when he lets the game going on.

Most of us are building while the game is paused, and i dont think the wheater is a challenge when the game is paused, so it would help the players building their habitats.

I searched for option to put some kind of daylight when building, but apparently it is not possible. The flashlight is too dim,. haha.
Worst is when it is raining heavily and dark!

I went to the graphics I saw they have this adjust brightness thing and apparently it is set to be dark, even if I calibrated my Window display well. But apparently the ingame dispaly is darker. So I adjusted the gamma a bit. But I haven't played since that, however.
