Adjust display positions?

I realise I'm late to the party and that someone else has probably asked and answered this before but if so I've been unable to find it so I hope you can forgive a possibly common question.

I've finally got a Vive and have DL'd ED again after quite some time away from it. Very impressed with the whole 3D thing. I'm wondering though if the display positions can be adjusted? I'm referring to the station services/market/etc screen which feels like it's too close to my face forcing me to crane my head around to see the whole thing as if I'm seated in the front row of a cinema. The side menu screens could also do with lifting up a bit in my opinion.

Any joy here?

Nope.
No positional adjustment to, any hud element.
Mostly because I think these are 3d parts of the cockpit models themselves.
The best you can do is mess up the colour scheme.

No adjustments, but you can cheat just a little bit by using the HMD center command. Just move your head forward of its natural position by a little bit, then hit the HMD recenter key. That’ll st least give you a little space from the instrumentation and front panels, but you can’t go to far otherwise you’ll bury your POV inside your chair.

He already feels like he is too close.

And when you try this the other way around you end up I side the chair.

This also shifts the side panels so they would be even further back. ouch. there goes my neck again..

These screens are so encompassing since that a what they want.
I personally find the new outfitting UI utterly stupid. Like I'm picking duplo.
Text just need to be readable we don't need the restaurant menu from the chain who goes out of its way to patronize retards.

As for the cinema. that's how you are supposed to watch movies.

You are simply not supposed to be able to see the entire screen at once.
Therefore I simply find movies on a tv a bit lack luster.
To bad the cinema going experience is so terrible these days.
€25 for a ticket for one, €30 just for parking.
Stale popcorn another €30.
And last I was there I could smell the bathroom stalls from the floor below..

Thanks for that guys. It's a pity... you wouldn't think being able to adjust at least the chair position would be too hard. Without wanting ro borrow too hard from an analogy used for a different complaint, Euro Truck Sim 2 allows position adjustments. Then again it's purely a driving sim and ED is trying to be so much more. Will just have to get used to it I guess.... much like getting used to driving the galaxy map & system map without a mouse, and using the cockpit gui for stuff I used to do on the keyboard.
