I've been building this park since the day the game was actually released. About 30 to 40 percent of the buildings are borrowed from the Workshop and everything else is pretty much an experiment to see how large of a park the game and my computer can handle. Since an actual full sized theme park and resort has so much to design, I literally built everything as fast as I could, borrowed as much as I could and kept every coaster pretty much as it was built from the first attempt. It's as detailed as I had time for, but not polished at all. I did have a plan for the over all design of the park with a large parking lot centered between a large theme park and a smaller water park with hotels, shopping and camping. Having no sense of scale with a new game, I didn't quite center the park right or leave enough room for the parking and resort area -- but it's a nice attempt at the design for my first try. My design is heavily influenced by 1970's Cedar Point which was inspired by Disneyland. I utilized Great America's circular paths system and placed a variation of Cedar Points lagoons (pre roller coasters) at the parks center.
