Advanced Discovery Scanner always No Objects Found and can't scan Nav Beacons. Duh!?

I have a couple hundred hours in ED. I can't figure out why on earth I can't get these to work anymore. Anaconda, yes all repaired, yes all turned "on", yes the 1.5million priced Advanced Discovery Scanner. Currently in the community goal system (Hanna or something, can't recall name out of game). There are multiple bodies and at least one station. Every time I honk the advanced discovery scanner, it comes back with "no new bodies discovered" or however it is phrased. The system map only shows the 2 stars right when I enter but not the stations etc. What gives?

Secondly, I fly to the nav beacon and nothing happens either. Yes, Drop out at the nav beacon, yes make sure to target the "white" actual nav beacon in contacts in our left panel, yes fly right up to it and stare at it from about 50 away (forget the measurement out of game). Nothing happens. What gives?

Please help me out commanders. This is silly and embarrasing I"m so teh stewpidz on dis one.!

I have never seen this issue before. Only time my scanners don't work is when I'm about to be disconnected.

I'm not doing the CG I've been very occupied in game by other tasks so I haven't been in system to take a look

Uhh... I'm, pretty sure thats not supposed to happen.
When you target the beacon: Do you get the rotating icon in the lower left display? The whirling sound while scanning?
I'm not sure right now if the disco scanner discovers stations (but it should,... I think... normaly...).

Has your data link scanner been configured in your fire group? from what you've posted it may want checking that it's assigned. I had a similar issue with my SRV not scanning data links shortly after the update that introduced the type of scanner.

The ADS won't discover new objects in an already 'named' system, if it is Hanna, then that could be why. Though they should all appear on the system map as planets & stations!

Perhaps its something like this :
when I'm in the SRV if one of the UI panels is open I cannot target and scan objects. I have to close the UI screen and then I can scan stuff again.

Harma System belongs to the Systems that are present (no 1st Discoveries possible) in the Default System Map set for all CMDRs.
Hence, there's nothing one could possibly scan inside that System.

Thus, if this System Map does not look like above (everything there), I think that's definitely a Bug and warrants a Bug Report or Support Ticket.

PS.
Only under conditions of extreme lag or Packet Loss I could imagine such an issue to appear. But even then, no later than i.e. restarting the Computer and logging into Solo Mode for a Test it should clear up and properly show up.
If even that doesn't help, it's probably indeed a unique Bug.

Yes, it's one of the default systems. I wonder if it always was, as there are a random subset of planets in eddb, so maybe the OP visited the system when it needed scanning, didn't san (so only has the stars), and now can't (as it's in the default set).

Does this affect all systems or only this one? (And try the relog as others suggested)
