Advanced maintenance, paintwork not working

When I'm at a station that offers all repair services, if I select advanced maintenance and paintwork, then click the confirm selection to spend the whopping 10cr, nothing happens. The 10cr are not deducted from my balance and the ship's paintwork is not restored. I rarely pay attention to the ship's paint, but occasionally I like to splurge on myself - yes, that's a joke, it's only 10cr!

This is true on several of my ships now. Just before the holidays I made an exploration journey of approx 15,000LY so that ship's paint is looking predictably worn too. I've noted this for some time now, so a log or game restart clearly doesn't resolve it. I haven't seen mention of it on the issue tracker.

Anyone else seeing this? This is on PC, Horizons in my case.

try deleting the gpuworktable.xml in the products folder is all I can suggest
there was always a bug were the last ten creds worth of paint never gets touched up if I recall right...………………………..

Just to report on that attempt...
I deleted gpuworktable.xml and decided to delete the shader cache files as well. Unfortunately it didn't help. My paintwork still looks raggedy and the 10cr aren't deducted when I try the repair. It's also interesting that the paintwork doesn't degrade further and that the repair cost doesn't get higher.

EDIT: I also visited the livery and tried applying a different / no paint job. This wasn't effective either.

well if its not that
and its not assets glitch (resolvable buy getting a new code via the log of machine function in the launcher
then I would say itsa 100% not your machine but a server bug or something

The wear doesn't seem to get worse nor does the cost to renew the paint increase. Oops; I believe that I already mentioned that.

Just got to play again yesterday and today. For some reason I thought of this again and decided to give it a try. In the advanced maintenance menu, it showed 10cr to repair the paintwork so I didn't expect it to work. But it did! Nevermind that it deducted a whopping 100cr rather than the advertised 10cr. :)
