advanced years

given that the demographic for this game is toward the top end of the spectrum i was wondering how people were preparing for their inevitable demise....

what music will play at your funeral?

this is mine.....

There's a slightly drunken maudlin Saturday night post if I ever saw one!

40 man, goddamn the years do flow by.

I guess this is mine...played after I've shot down at least 20 of you young fools and the hulls splitting apart and I'm down to my last missile, a good cigar and a fine single malt, of course ;)

I'm not sure its an OAP game, I was about 5 when I first played the original. And played it till I was about 20.

I think it will appeal to all ages, with the added bonus of having a pensioner fanbase too. :)

"Reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated". If this game lasts 10 years I still will not be a pensioner.

Having said that I have already died many times in game and the music I have heard will suffice.

My wife calls me her fourth child.

@Patrick
Ed is just an example - she's been saying it for over 25 years of married life. At first I was her first child!

Hmm, not something I have given much thought to. Since I have been a astronomy / space / sci-fi junkie for as long as I can remember, perhaps a wee tune to reflect that.

'10,000 Light Years from Home' by The Rolling Stones
'Ingenuity' by Ultravox
'Sleeping Satellite' by Tasmin Archer
The original movie 'Forbidden Planet' theme music

'Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft' by the Carpenters, maybe not.
