Talking of The advertising screens, That could potentially be a good way for frontier to raise extra revenue to fund their servers by renting out space on these screens to commercial companies.

Unless they postpone for two years due to Thargoid invasion the next one won't be until 3302
What about using the screens to show any special offers on comoditys in that particular station, giving the pilots an actual in game reason to look at them.
Or as a more out there suggestion, how about a looped muted news cast showing a news reader or similar blade runner type display, that if a pilot wants to listen to, would need to be within 7,500km of actual board, and hail it ( like we do for docking ) then the cast will play visually and audibly to the pilot. To all other pilots that have NOT hailed the news board, all the see is a looped spinning news logo or something, with no audio.
I know it can't be done, but would be good for pirate Bulletins, commodity special offers, warnings to docking pilots that internal station defences are currently in operation shooting at unauthorized ship inside the station, or even just to say a type 9 heavy or anaconda is currently departing and advises caution at station entrance
