Hi there,
Looking for a spot of advice.
I'm currently running a setup of 4 Vultures, which I keep in active CGs or stations I'm looking to build rep in. Moving them around as needed. The specs are as follows and build cost is 21,480,609 http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=60N,5TP5TP3wU0_g0_g0_g,316Q8S6Q5K7_6u5A,7Su7go9qI2UI0nE
I run a multi role Asp for rare trading, running missions and travel between the systems where I have other ships located. The specs are as follows and build cost is 39,925,724 http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=60g,0...4yH4yH,317_7_7_6Q6Q7_8I,0AA7Sk4zM13q2UI2jw0nE
I have an Asp at my base system which is pimped out for exploring. The specs are as follows and build cost is 52,874,784 http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=60g,0Wg0Wg0Wg0Wg,2-3I8S7_6u5K8S8I,5220KU0KU0KU0KU2UI2jw
Thanks to the Zaonce CG, I picked up a Python, to replace the bulk trading Asp I had before and this is parked up by a quite, trade route which is giving me 1200 one way, 900 back and no real variance due to lack of others running the route or size of my trading. The specs are as follows and build cost is 56,610,030 http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=605,mpX0_g0_g0_g0_g,2-A0A07_6uBaA08I,0AA0AA0AA08c08c07205U7Pc0nE
I also have 37,159,882 in the bank.
Assuming a 10% knock off when selling the ships (I will strip before selling, but using 10% reduction overall to provide insurance costs...), I could find 248,959,558.
I understand the restriction of the Anaconda with outposts, so will take that into account.
With 248,959,558 to spend, would this give me enough to get a setup that could replace the above fleet?
It would not be an A-spec ship, obviously and I acknowledge that a multi-role conda will have less cargo than the python, but more than the multi-role Asp. It would be less manoeuvrable than the Vulture, but have more fire-power. I do, however, have a lot of credits sunk into ships that are for the most part, collecting dust.
However, looking for advice from those who stepped up to the conda on a budget and asking you all how this went. The alternative would be to sink everything into this python setup http://www.edshipyard.com/#/L=605,5...,31B69Y7_6QB69Y8I,0AA0AA7UI7iM50U9tQ2jw2UI0nE
Thanks in advance for any replies.
