Ships Advice on planetary exploration build

I was thinking to build a ship designed specifically for planetary exploration. So I thought I needed something small, fast, and with an SRV equipped. I tried with a Clipper and it turned out ok (faster than a ship launched fighter) but then I heard about the Enhanced Performance Thrusters, so I thought to try a courier.

This is what I managed to come up with: https://coriolis.io/outfit/imperial_courier/0p5tzF5l3dds8f2---0200--2t023uv62i2f.Iw18UA==.Aw18UA==

Modified: Overcharged power plant
Dirty Drives
FSD Range
Charge Enhanced PD
Lightweight Armor, Life Support, Heatsink, Chaff

Right now it has 187 Hull, 250 Shields.
Without SRV: 61.7 Mass, 599/813 M/s, 37.17 range unladen.
With SRV: 67.7 Mass, 560/761 M/s, 33.87 range unladen.

- it can boost consistently on both configs (I tried a lower class PD, but couldn't boost consistently, not even with engine focused mod - so I guess the higher speed there is deceptive)

Questions:

813 boost speed is really sweet, I loaded some lightweight multicannons and e grade boosters and it still stayed in that range. Is it really viable as fighter that way? Otherwise I can't think of any other use for this kind of setup.

Is ~760 boost speed pretty much the max we can get, or are there faster ships out there? I keep hearing about Cobra MkIII being fast, but I just can't figure out how (much higher mass, class 4 thrusters).

What would you advice for shields? Thermal biweaves with resistance boosters? Reinforced d grades with resistance boosters?

Weapons? Lightweight fixed MCs, missiles maybe? Or Frags?

(I really wish for a lightweight SRV mod)
