Advice on Smuggling Faction effects please.

Scenario
Buying legal tobacco from Empire controlled system/station
Selling to Black Market in Federation controlled system/station
.
System/Faction Standings
The Federation system is controlled by a Federation Faction with 59% influence.
There are 3 other factions all independent with 18%/13%/8% system influence.
.
Impacts
Clearly this will increase the faction influence of the Empire in the Empire system as I am just buying "normal" goods via the normal process.
.
However, I would like to know what effect this will have on the destination system.
.
Any help/speculation greatly appreciated.

Black Markets are always controlled by a Mob/Cartel/Posse no matter the station/outpost owner is the Feds. There is always a faction with connections in the systems with black markets.

Some of the Posses/Mobs/Cartels own outposts and stations of their own in some systems.

You alone cannot change the system influence. But you can change your own reputation with the faction.

THanks for the info.

For the sake of argument, lets assume that there are lots of CMDR's doing exactly the same run as me. How does it effect influence then?
.
Given your new info, I would tend to think it would give influence to the "Mob" faction in the same way selling legal goods to the owning faction would do. However as its also a crime, I wonder if it will affect civil unrest or other status'.
