Herbigs really are like super massive T-Tauri stars, and i mean, that's pretty much how it is. Lots of chaos and randomness in the systems, but since they are massive unlike usual protostars, they attract lots of other crap into their own system.
I don't feel like they are accurately represented in the game though, they're very small but massive, yet also cold.
That's kind of the opposite of how it should be? I mean, they are A/B stars very early in development, but shouldn't they only look red when observed from far away because of significant dust?
Feels like they should be a bit big rather than small, cause all the mass hasn't really coalesced yet or something.

Yeah, being that indeterminate slot of not an A not a B and lots of system dust I would think they would be larger also. Like you I think the copious amount of dust they are surrounded with probably is glowing and we get that red/orange look. There are a lot of things I wish the Forge was able to produce (rogue planets, disc accretions from close companions, etc) but it is what it is and happy to be able to fly around with my Polaroid snapping away.
