The idea behind this is to free up Aegis' megaship for operations out of system. If they're bogged down with influence in a system, they can't move without causing more trouble. Establishing them here ensures we can move on without issue.

No, I don't think they started it. The only thing being attacked is the station (and a bunch of other random settlements), by Aegis. But hey, it's all just silly gameplay mechanics. I'll get out of your roleplay thread.
