AFMU

Ok, I just have a quick questions

Ammo & Repair

What does the Repair Number Stands for?
Ie for A2 the repair is 70 while for the B2 it's 64,4.

I have no clue :p

Ammo is obviously how much total damage it can repair. Isn't really much of a problem unless you're doing a very careless Sag A* (or further) run or have the incredible bad luck to run into a binary system at just the wrong angle. Once your ammo is gone, it can't repair anymore. Still, 3600 seems like a good enough amount to get most of your modules up from like 50% or more.

As to the other one, I think it's how much damage it can repair at the same time. e.g one repairs modules at a rate of 64hp/s, the other 70hp/s. So again, not that important unless you're literally 200% heat cooking yourself to death.

Going to be really intresting when the module changes come into effect and damaged powerplants provide less power, that's for sure.

Yes as above.
The better the module the faster it repairs with A grade being fastest.
Ammo is best on B grade yet it obviously does not repair as fast.

For combat repairs I'd say A grade all the way since ammo isn't a concern.
For exploration I'd say B grade since repair speed is irrelevant.

Points to note: AFMU's currently do not repair Hull, powerplant or canopy.
This means you are limited on exploration/combat, however, keeping one is amazing for when your discovery scanner breaks at 10,000Ly from home. Nothing worse than travelling back not being able to scan.

Someone did a research thread on afmus the other day. They found that despite the b rated afmus having more ammo than the a rated ones, the a rated ones can actually do more repairing overall due to using their ammo more efficiently. That repair number seems to both indicate repair speed and efficiency.
