Below is my wishlist if we had a second African DLC. What animals would you change?

If we get another DLC focused on Africa, I hope it is an animal pack:
  1. Hamadryas Baboon
  2. African crested porcupine
  3. Addax
  4. Fossa
  5. Secretary bird
  6. Red river hog
  7. Dromedary
  8. Panther chameleon (e)

My favorite lineup would look like this:
  • Hamadryas Baboon
  • Serval
  • Addax
  • Mantled Guereza
  • Secretary Bird
  • Red River Hog
  • African Crested Porcupine
But Rock Hyrax, Fossa, Caracal and Dik-Dik would also be extremely solid choices that I'd hope we get in another pack down the line.

If there was a second Africa pack (which I would probably call something like 'Safari Pack'), I would choose the following animals:

1. Red river hog
2. Grey crowned crane
3. Serval
4. Cape crested porcupine
5. Yellow backed duiker
6. Southern ground hornbill
7. Golden bellied mangabey
Exhibit. Turquoise dwarf gecko

That said, honestly there are a bunch of others I'd be fine with including:
Shoebill Stork, Nile Crocodile, Blue Wilderbeast, Banded Mongoose, Fossa, Aye-aye, Shifaka sp, Olive Baboon, Helmeted Guineafowl, Great White Pelican, Caracal, Serval, Saddle-billed Stork, African Wild Ass, Dromeday Camel and probably some others I'm forgetting?

I would switch out half of those:
1) Hamadryas Baboon - switch to Red River Hog or Giant Forest Hog
2) Rock Hyrax - switch to Secretary Bird
3) Coquerel's Sifaka
4) Serval - switch to Caracal
5) Giant Ground Pangolin - switch to African Crested Porcupine
6) Black and White Colobus Monkey
7) Fossa
8) Scimitar Horned Oryx

First Alternate Choices: Hamadryas Baboon and Greater Kudu

It all depends on the fact are we going to get a middle eastern/desert pack and general Africa pack or just one of those.

If just one it would be hard to fit all the animals that I think are necessary but if we could get two it would be definitely much easier.

I would really like to see some of those crucial for me African species:

  • Red River hog!!!! (I just can’t live without it)
  • Big antelope (Giant eland, Scimitar oryx, Addax)
  • smaller cat (Serval, Caracal)
  • porcupine
  • monkey (Mantled guereza is more important for me than a baboon)
  • Fossa - obviously, but it can also land in some kind of Island animal pack
  • Stripped hyena (absolutely crucial desert animal for me)
  • Dromedary (not so crucial but highly wanted and can also land in General Asian animal pack)
  • Black rhino, Honey badger, Somali wild donkey and African civet (I think the game would really benefit to get each and every one of those 4 species)
  • Whole bunch of ground birds: Pelican, Hornbill, Crane, Stork, Shoebill, Secretary bird, Guineafowl, Congo peacock, Ibis - for me there could be easly be a separate African Ground birds animal pack

4. Serval
5. Porcupine
6. Fossa
7. Addax

I would also love to see Shoebill, Somali wild donkey and African civet.

I was disappointed that the Africa pack wasn't an animal pack, so I would love another Africa DLC.

Yeah, Africa has so much to offer I can easily see another animal pack with African animals. My wishlist would be something like this:

Serval - Gives us the niche of small savannah predator. Also spotted African cat can complete one more niche if the Leopard we get is an Asian one.

Greater Kudu - Big majestic antelope to round them up. Interchangeable with Scimitar Oryx which would go in an Endangered Species in this case.

De Brazza Guenon - My choice for tropical tailed monkey. Very interesting and unique look, also pretty common in zoos.

Red River Hog - Also common zoo critter, would round up tropical African rooster neatly. They also look very excentric.

Shoebill/Grey Crowned Crane - One or the other, two waterfowls I wouldn't like in a pack but they are both so iconic. Maybe I'm leaning more on the Shoebill side because it can be self sustaining exhibit while GCCrane is used more of like decorative addition to safari habitats.

Fossa - Sits very nicely with three lemurs we already have and the exhibit animal I have in mind for nice little Madagascar section. And if I continue the talk about possible ES pack, it could contain a Sifaka to complete it.

Cape Porcupine - Final habitat addition. Must have in zoos. Splendid looking animal. Could fit so many themes and builds.

Panther Chameleon - And for the exhibit slot our first chameleon. So I went with the most vibrant one
