Hey there,
I love Planet Zoo and I love Africa!
Currently my PC keeps crashing when starting my main Zoo, which is a big "Safari" through Africa.
We ordered a lot of new stuff for my PC and 16 GB RAM already helped out at least a bit
I spent about 70 hrs on my main zoo. I suffer from CFS and cannot drive or go anywhere at the moment, but Planet Zoo makes me very happy!
The problem I currently have is that people extremely crowd the entrance area and then hardly ever go to the end of the park, although the system ist very logical. I also think that people more enjoy animals they can see from the ground and not from above - and my park almost only exists from higher pathways to make the Safari feeling more amazing.
In this post I will show you one of my favorite projects, my vivarium cave:
There is indeed a glass fence, you just cannot see it very well (tiger exhibit).
I just freaking LOVE the terraforming tool! It is SO SO well made. I made a big vivarium cave that also holds one of the main parts where the customers walk around. On the backside of the cave, as shown in the third picture, there are pathways for the keepers so they don't bother the customers so much. On the other side of the cave people can watch tigers.
I am not the person to build the most amazing enclosures and I take a lot of time on terraforming and thinking about pathways, but in the future, when I get my new computer, I will put a lot of rocks there to make the zoo more realistic and alive.
I will update you every now and then
Yours,
Natascha
