After 4.0 upgrade ED is using 70 GB on disk!

Hi, I have ED + Horizons, today I downloaded and installed 4.0. Before the update the game was using 20 GB now is using 70 GB!
In the folder "H:\Programmi\Steam\SteamApps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\FORC-FDEV-DO-38-IN-40\Win64" I have these subfolders:

Each folder is about 3 GB
Are all those folder needed? I had to restart the upgrade 3 times because I was low on disk space so maybe some folders are just broken downloads?
What happens if I delete one of them?

Don't know about Steam but the file sizes on a normal install are approx 20GB for non-odyssey and 50 GB for Odyssey so looks like your 4.0 is basically an odyssey installation (with some stuff gated).

That's all game content. If you want to save disk space then remove either 3.8 or 4.0 I guess ‍
