After Action Report?

Currently I can look at the combat log and see this:
name (cmdr or npc) / system / timestamp

Total barebones.

Is there a 3rd party tool that will give me an after action report with more useful data?
Name / ship type / shields / hull / shots fired?

Thanks

Luxury ah tell thee, luxury!

I would love if i could find out in any way, shape or form what/who just blew me to tiny pieces (for when it isnt a very angry Interceptor and therefore pretty obvious).

Yes i am a console (PS)plebian.

This basic information is in the combat log already. I would like more details about the engagement than just "who dunnit". Do console users have a EDMC->Inara connection?

Possibly, however i am fairly clueless about that kind of thing, i just like flying spaceships really. I should try tbh, guess if i find Raxxla or something it might unlock spacelegs, then it would be recorded and Harry Potter might come Gank me😁

I would like to know what happened when i died though, would such inara magic allow a console user to find out?

Here's an example of what you get from Inara's combat log:

All those are events that the journal records, I don't think it has detail about shots fired (but haven't checked it in a while).

EDIT: Combat related events are:
  • When a player is awarded a bounty for a kill
  • The player has been rewarded for a capital ship combat
  • When a player is killed (Name, Ship and Rank of the killer included)
  • Escaped an interdiction
  • Rewarded for taking part in a combat zone
  • When a fight is destroyed
  • When taking heat damage
  • When taking hull damage
  • When interdicted
  • When attempting an interdiction
  • PVP kill
  • Shields state (disabled or online)
  • When scanning a ship (multi-stage)
  • When an SRV is destroyed
  • When first coming under attack
But no info about weapons used, I'm afraid.

There are no useful details such as ship or ship stats that I can find. That's why a 3rd party app would be nice here.

Look in the journal file after an appropriate encounter - that is the maximum information any app could have. Most likely you would need to look at any scan events as they may have more information about your opponent, but I don't know that it will go into the detail you want - even a manifest scan doesn't tell you about any engineering AFAIK 🤷‍♀️

Cheers Krash, i should link up, no time to game at mo really, too busy ☹️

And yesterday i accidentally put red hot 0.8mm mig welding wire about 15mm into my plam. Don’t try that at home kids, its not big or clever. And hurts. And if your mother in law is staying at your house this week, it is far far worse. Especially if she used to be a nurse and trys to make you go hospital where you would have to wait 4hrs an get told to take ibuprofen at the end!

Work to do, football to watch after, if it gets lots worse, then i will burden the NHS with my presence!😃
