After Odyssey's release, are you looking towards other games to scratch that itch?

ED is definitely not representative of what MMO games are like in any way that I would use it as a comparison for those. It's like saying Sam's club cola is gross so I'm never trying Coke or Pepsi.
I wasn't thinking of ED's implementation of a MMO game when I typed that. I was referring to the types of people I encountered in my first MMO experiences. Many of whom I'd just as soon kick in the face rather than try playing a game with them. There are some seriously sick twits hanging out in open in ED. YMMV of course.

I've read enough stories about Eve and other MMO games where I'm to the point that I really have no desire to waste my computer game time with AHs like that.

If someone can recommend a multiplayer (no need for MMO, 4-5 players is enough), open world space game with VR, good flight model, pseudo-realistic grapics, believable universe, with diverse activities (not only combat), I'd consider it - for now I haven't found one that does it, NMS has the non-existing flight model and the cartoony graphics, most other games miss the VR, Everspace is single player only and the flight model is not for me, Star Wars Squadrons is just CQC advanced with simplified flight controls ...

I've heard some people suggesting Evochron Legacy, I might check that out.

Check the demo out, can do all the tutorials (you will need to) plus half hour in game to see if it fits. I should love it but for some reason it doesn't grab me. I tried 4 or 5 times, but no click. The developer has made something that rivals ED, fantastic flight model (where you can't just hover in planets gravity wells), upgraded the engine to Vulcan, still supports VR, more landable planet types, base building in space and on land, along with the basics of missions, trading, mining & piracy...
I need to give it another go!

One good thing about Oddity being pants is that I noticed today that Forza Horizons 4 (the GB one) is in a sale on Steam. I have not got the faintest idea what I am supposed to be doing but it is the most fun I have had on the PC for weeks. ;)

The open world was beautiful to explore. The cars and customization also lovely.

The new one is coming to game pass when it comes out. Looking forward to it.
