After Papa Titan is Dead

When Papa Titan is dead, are all Thargoids also gone? or there will be a specific area where all Thargoid Survivors roam?? Thargoid hunting is part of my hobby and my bread and butter. If they are gone I hope you replace them with something scary or xtreme to do in game. The NPC pirate ship is not exotic and scary.

There's a theory that Cocijo came to Sol to look for something the Thargoids value very much. I doubt they'll stop looking just because the 8th Titan is dead. Whatever they're looking for, the Thargoids are probably willing to sacrifice a 100 Titans to get it.

To my knowledge this is an unanswered question. I sure hope that there will be AX activities possible after Cocijo is ousted from Sol or killed.

Tinfoil moment: Sol is not only a cradle of Humanity, but also a system where the first ever alien artifact was found in 2280. And...
"All these worlds are yours. Except Titan. Attempt no landing there".

I predict that the debris fields will remain Thargoid contact points indefinitely. And of course, there are still all the old spots in the Pleiades. They promised back in February that this year would bring the war to its conclusion. Although they did also promise surprises. I suppose the invasions of Shin Dez and Sol were...surprising? I was personally surprised that "the long-awaited culmination of the saga" was a ten-month grind and counting, but I shouldn't have been. I'm certainly surprised at how much more I've enjoyed the invasion of Sol. Skipping 20 months of the war and coming in after the balance has finally been figured out made all the difference in the world.

If they had 100 titans that are not needed elsewhere, why would they not have sent a few as reinforcements after their task force fell apart this year?

I don't see the development of the Thargoid content just being abandoned. Too many years and moneys invested to just brush your hands. Plus all of the gear, and recognition for Commanders who participate. FDev says, "Thanks, come again." and moves onto Colonization? I don't see it.

I don't know the ins and outs of the 'Goids, but you just can't throw away development investments like that.

I think it will just revert back to Pleadies, Witchhead and Coalsack with a few random sectors dotted about where they forgot to remove the goids years ago.
So same as before but without Titans for a while.

But for content I hope something worse starts attacking.

Just going to say it's Mama Titan (oOOooOOoh), as all Thargoids are female in lore. :)

I mean, they've kind of done it before. A permanent introduction of sites where a game loop can be engaged without further development into meaningfully integral gameplay, polishing, or revision of any kind--sounds like MO. Look at the original Thargoid sites. Look at the Guardian sites. Look at Odyssey.

Maybe, but bear in mind Odyssey lost them money and damaged their reputation, whereas the Thargoid war has been a success in terms of player engagement. They will want to do this, or something similar again.

I hope it won't get killed but will panic instead, flee from Sol and we'll be able to track it back to their home world. Then the war will move there. :giggle:
