After picking your Factiobn how long can you survive in a High Intensity Conflict Zone?

Less than a minute in a Vulture for me. I avoid at all cost. I find Low Intensity very challenging indeed.

A few hours or so in Vipers and Vultures. Then I can stay in there pretty much all day in my Anaconda or FAS. Great way to fast track to Elite.

All you really need is a Viper though pick off the smaller ships first at the start and swing the sides towards your faction and you are made.

Until I run out of ammo or shield cells, usually the former. About a million and a half in credits. In time, maybe 30 to 45 minutes?
Oh, in a FAS. Much longer in my Conda.

Boost away first, get clear, pick, head in. Stay near greens at all times.

This indeed. Sometimes you'll get in at the wrong entrance and the whole pack instantly wants a peace of you :p

This is pretty good advice. I can survive for a decent amount of time in my Cobra or Asp. You just can't let yourself get into a situation where 3 or more enemies focus on you. If they do, make a quick escape, then re-engage.

But I do often find high intensity easier than low. The more distractions for your enemies, the better. That's all until you get a human enemy player who, thanks to silly hollow triangle beacon, quite often ignore everything else and focus directly on you. :/

Depends.

If I'm successful in managing it - I'd say about 2 hours, longer only in a pure SCB tank (Python, Anaconda). But I usually don't have the stamina and need some break anyway & just leave it at some point.
Longest I've ever been in one was approx. 3 hours in an FdL and performing complete "no respect warfare".

If not and the tide of war turns against me, I might have to leave within about ~20 Minutes; ~10-15 Minutes if I'm really out of luck.

For some reason, I often find the first minute the hardest. Once I pick a side, I seem to get pummelled by several ships at once - and I don't want to use all my SCBs if I plan to stay a while. If I manage to last that minute or two without my shields going down, I could last an hour or two. It just depends on how patient I am with my shields recharging.

in a vulture I feel almost untouchable in CZs. i barely lose any shields let alone use SCBs, that ship can just stay on their tail way too well

Indefinitely in a Vulture or a Ferdie.

Don't need SCBs... just the patience to retire to the side, circa 8k from the center when your shields are a bit low and let them recharge.

Sometimes, when targetted by 3 or 4 'Condas at once, I have to beat a hasty retreat, but first try flying through a clump of greens. Most of the time that shakes them off.

My eyes get a bit watery after a couple of hours though and I have to teak a break.

Strength in numbers, stay close to you co-belligerents; pick targets of opportunity that are alone, avoid groupings on enemies.
Keep that in mind and don't get either drawn away from your own group or drawn into an enemy group.
When you have cleared out an area, set for flank speed, and be ready to make a withdrawal when the next wave of hostiles arrive, lest they decide you are the priority target.

Boost twice after entering the zone to get a bit of distance before choosing a side.
Pick your first opponents on the edge of the combat zone.
Pick opponents who are already engaged with a green.

It really depends. They are highly dynamic and the basic mechanics are the same as for liCZ. Sometimes I can stay there until I have to rearm. Sometimes you have half of the zone gang up on you the moment you picked a faction. In both zones you need to keep an eye on your environment and preferably also have a good estimate what those suckers around you fly. If you have two Vipers lighting up on you that's no issue. If you have 2 Condas that's probably a good time to get the hell away from them. Make sure you don't pick unfavorable sides when you're right in the middle of a hornet's nest. They will attack closeby enemies. So it's a good idea to avoid being the only one.

The main difference between the two is the quality of enemies. You run into much more higher ranks and better equipped ships in hiCZs.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. I like using a cannon on my Vulture because it forces me to take a break after 1-1.5 hours when I run out of ammo. Just bought an FAS and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

It depends, but as others are saying it seems to depend a lot on the first minute. If I haven't been ganked out of it by multiple ships at once, I can usually last indefinitely in a Vulture or Python.
