Engineers After Rebuy the station attacks me on pad

Hi,


maybe the Frontiers have to fix the aggresivity of the NPCs and of the stations.


This is me just came out from garage after a Rebuy...

... the station attacks me... i cannot Take Off !




I've tried... but the station kills me ( 4,6 ML CR wasted )




Have you Frontiers any tips for me about this situation pls ? :)

Hmm, got any timed bounty on you or Legacy Fines to pay off there? Try buy a DBS there and hit Heatsinks and get away fast!
I had used SRV around an Engineers port. I recalled ship and it docked illegally and got blown up!

Do you know how many damages those lasers do ?


I have not time to get out with any kind of ship

Are you able to take off then immediately log out?
Upon logging in you should be 10km outside the station.

Are you powerplay affiliated? I think this is the root cause of this bug.

As above ticket but it may be a quick fix to un-align for a day or two and fly to a safe spot.

Not necessarily.

Are you by any chance hostile to the faction that owns that station? If so they will shoot you now. You could rebuy a Sidewinder at your starter station (assuming its not the same station). Alternatively faction rep decays to neutral quite quickly and a day or two off may be enough to allow you to log in there (not ideal I know).

You need to pay attention to who you upset and where you dock now.

Hostile stations will attack you on the pad after a rebuy. I raised it during the beta... nobody cared.

Kiss goodbye to your expensive ship, pick the sidey.

"Stations will no longer let you dock if the controlling faction dislikes you" that was from the patch notes. If you have the misfortune of re-spawning in such a station it will open fire.

1. You could file a ticket and wait until your pilot is moved elsewhere; this will take time.
2. You can try the logout trick to try and get clear, (if you have voice attack, program a quick voice command to take you out via the menu, it will probably be far quicker than you can manage yourself.).
3. Next time you die, select the sidewinder, this will start you off in your starter station.
4. Or a very dire not to be recommended option, reset your save.

Yeah, I'm pledged with a PP faction that is against that one where i'm.

This morning that ship was parked in another system... and as Hostile i was able to park in that station.


I'm entered and exited from there for hours as Hostile before this awkward situation after a rebuy.


Should I have to wait a week or lose tons of progress to exit ? really ?


It still sounds as a huge bug to me.


Anyway i'm going to open a ticket.

Do you have any idea how many bug reports they have had to process? Then, if they need a fix they have to be passed up the chain and added to the existing bug list and prioritised, then solutions to the problem have to be arrived at and coded into the game, and then tested before being pushed live. THIS TAKES TIME.

File bug reports, and move on, they are dealt with as and when they can, and dont get your nickers in a twist because you did not get a lollypop and a personal reply.

Before the 2.1 release I had parked at an Engineer's site in Sol. (I like the canyons)
When 2.1 was released I flew into the base with a cargo of fish. [knocked out]
On leaving the base I noticed my status was hostile. So did the Site and deaded me.
After the re-buy I got away by hedgehopping and praying to the gods of canyon racing. [alien]

Yep the behaviour of the security ships is kinda strange.


Once I've been scanned by the security... when they finished they stated "ok, we are done here..."... as usual when they found no evidence on you.... but rather than fly away they attacked me.


I was like : " why ? " :)
