... what about fixing the ship icons on the galaxy map?

2 very well known bugs since MONTHS...

1. Icons don´t move with transferred ships
2. Icons disappear

Nothing is more annoying than:

1. appearing in a station, looking for a ship which is not there
2. having to dock just to check the shipyard where the ships really are

Unbelievable, really. I don´t know how many (closed!) tickets I sent, but we are still facing that problem since MONTHS.

Annoying. Really.

Well, to help ease your burden, I posted a bug report on this a couple of weeks ago and Support got back to me and said they were aware of the issue.

I'd like to see the icons actually represent the type of ship. That would be awesome.

Even moving them to refresh it doesn't help as they soon return to being strewn across the map. How hard can it be to force a refresh now and again?

Boarding the ship without an icon helps.

The issue you mentioned is, I'm sure, very annoying; unfortunately, it's likely seen as a "Low Priority – Low Severity bug" hence why it hasn't been attended to sooner ( see here: http://www.testingexcellence.com/severity-and-priority-difference/ )

My post likely won't assuage your feelings, but it should give you some understanding as to why nothings been done. Which is something I guess.

HAHAHAHA.... "Aware of the issue...". The rest of the sentence reads something like "but we are too busy making crap in the store like engine colours for you to blow some cash on to be bothered to fix this problem for you punters out there..."

It's not just transferred ships. I sold a ship remotely, a year ago, and there is still a marker on the galactic map.

After transferring the ship you need to get in it for the icon to appear in the correct location. Not good enough really but at least there is an easy workaround.

Spend a few years in software development, then comment - otherwise you look like just any other ignorant, entitled consumer.
