Agriculture Not Working on Surface Ports??

I was working on a surface Agricultural economy in my system today, and getting absolutely no Agricultural produce - despite the system's Coriolis selling Algae, Leather and Natural Fabrics from weak link influence alone. After noticing the demand for Fruit and Vegetables was not decreased when I built another settlement, I checked supply/demand on various commodities produced and consumed by Agriculture for both that port and another surface port in the system, and realised that despite being listed in the journal logs and as the "Agricultural" port's primary economy, the economy was simply having no effect. Commodities that should be produced weren't being, and commodities that should be consumed are produced unaffected. This is a new one...

It just isn't doing anything.
Agriculture (260%)
Extraction (140%)
Terraforming (100%)
High Tech (20%)
Refinery (15%)
Military (15%)
Tourism (5%)

Your port is just eating it's own agriculture. It being tidally locked is a huge penalty to the agriculture value and the other markets exceed the agriculture that you did manage to get. That's why you've got nothing.

It’s not quite as simple as that, though - Algae, for instance, is only consumed by Industrial and Military economies. There’s a grand total of 0.15 of that in the port, and 3.4 (now I built another settlement) Agri. Yet, no Algae, despite the 0.2 Agri/0.15 Military Coriolis elsewhere in the system producing a decent amount of it.

No it's not that simple because different things have different supply and demands and each station rolls a magical RNG for what they get that you can reroll by building more stuff. Surface ports and orbital ports also have slightly different tables so in the end I wouldn't expect that station to produce much agriculture but the precise details of supply and demand are black magic voodoo.

Things like Grain, Animal Meat, etc. should generally (if not reliably) be exported at about "half-Agricultural" as well, despite everything else importing them.

There's no Industrial at all in the mix, so Leather and Natural Fabrics should be coming through

Question: does the station import Grain, or does it just not have Grain on the market at all?

Question: what about Agricultural imports - Crop Harvesters and Marine Equipment are only imported by Agri and only exported by Industrial (which it doesn't have): are they showing up?

The station imports Grain iirc, but it doesn't import or export Leather or Natural Fabrics. Crop Harvesters aren't produced (the stated lack of Industrial seems to be true) but High-Tech stuff like Pesticides and Animal Monitors are being exported from the 0.2 HighTech economy.

That does look like absolutely no Agricultural economy is being applied at all, then, not just that you've got massively unlucky with the other types suppressing it.

Strange - it certainly allowed Agricultural to be applied to surface ports before Update 3, but that may have been when it stopped working.

Agri is the end-boss of colonisation, as it is consumed by almost everything else, heavily debuffed by most stuff and thus extremely hard to get.

I had bad results even with a Waterworld to work with, so I would not get my hopes up.
