Ah, memories!

So I was wandering round Mizar et al. pootling away at Alliance BB jobs, then it all went dry. So I thought 3 months now maybe I should head to Lave, 's only 132Ly away. So I did and I was fit by a pang when I got there and saw that name hanging there on the screen. Didn't help that my laptop playlist came across and played 'Crockett's Theme' by Jan Hammer. Fair brought a tear to the olds eyes. 1984 again/ I felt like Buck Rogers In The 20th Century ('Was that some sort of timewarp I just went through?)
's nice to be home.
Then again I burst the nostalgia bubble when I pranged my kite off George Lucas over in Leesti. Still can't be a bad day when you get to report you pranged your kite off George Lucas. Anyone any good with Photoshop?:D

I'm not old enough for 1984 nostalgia, but I've seen the original game on YouTube and every ship I saw and station was recognizable. They did a fantastic job then and now.

I never got to play First Encounters but I loved the original Elite and played the hell out of Frontier.

I did the tour around Lave, Diso, Leesti etc and was disappointed I didn't get a 'Keeping it Old School' or a 'Thanks for the Memories' achievement. I think FDEV missed a trick there.
